Pride  & Commitment

india1

For me, Oriflame is a God-sent opportunity that makes ordinary people extraordinary, beautiful, affluent and smarter. It is as dear to me as my son.

I am a graduate in English literature and have a master’s degree in foreign trade. Before joining Oriflame I worked in the family garment export business.

I gave careful thought to my decision to join Oriflame. After all, I had a five-month-old baby to look after. But I wanted to do something that was unique, had tremendous scope for growth, which paid well and would enable me to travel all around the world and – most importantly – would leave me enough time to look after my baby.

My dream in life is to be a very successful person, to be a role model for my child, to be a good human being – and to own a holiday home in Australia. Professionally, my objective is to see at least one Oriflame product in every middle-income household in India. In short, I want Oriflame to be the number one cosmetic brand in India!

My advice to anybody joining this business is to please take it seriously. It is a business that has the potential to change your whole life but it requires huge commitment. I always believe that we are doing others a big favour by offering them these products as well as the opportunity.

Therefore it’s something we should do with pride. One should have complete knowledge of the company’s background as well as the business plan before one starts talking to others about it. The words I live by? “Seek first to understand, then to be understood”.
