At 26, Cynthia Venika was the youngest ever Oriflame Consultant to achieve Diamond Director status anywhere in the world. And that’s not all. In March 2001 she became Sapphire Director, and three months later, Diamond Director. With those two positions, her bank account gained Rp.60 million from the Cash Award, and she became the first Indonesian to achieve Executive Director. “I am glad that I can be the inspiration to many people, and being the best while I’m so young is a golden page in the book of my life,” says Cynthia.

Cynthia’s initial interest was piqued by the Oriflame products and catalogues that her sister’s friend offered at work. She not only used the products, but sold them for the direct profit. One day, seeing the enthusiasm among all the people in the Oriflame office, she realised how much more can be gained from recruiting, and the bonuses and incentives that follow. 

Even so, the many challenges in the first year turned her back to working 9 to 5 in a private company, staying only part-time with Oriflame.  By April 1998, though, she was getting more downlines. After three years of focusing on Oriflame and the needs of her prospects, she made 1,000 downlines, spread throughout Indonesia, and decided to return full-time to Oriflame. “I love all those awards and recognitions, and the togetherness is a bonus in itself,” says Cynthia. Her obsession is to achieve the highest level.

Cynthia’s determination to live up to her mother’s hopes was her biggest motivation. “Luckily, Oriflame helped me achieve my dream of making my mother happy before she passed away last year, and I always remember her words – to always do the best in my life,” she added. “I only live once, so that’s what I do.”

When advising potential recruits, Cynthia likes to ask them about their dreams – and then tells them the good news: Oriflame is here! A unique international company that will help them realize their dreams, giving everyone the chance to look great, make money and have fun! “I always tell a lot of success stories about how Oriflame has changed so many people’s lives – especially mine”, declares the young top performer, adding that she’s ready to support them with all her heart. But she also insists that the most important thing in this business is CFC – Commitment, Focus and Consistency. And that, as far as Cynthia is concerned, is why she’ll always have the best team around.

Before Oriflame, she was a shy girl with no self-confidence, and as the youngest among 12 siblings, she was also spoiled and very dependent.  Now, after fulfilling her dream, she’s become a strong woman. She uses her money to enlarge her network, buy property, and take good care of herself by going to the gym and the beauty salon – always taking along her own Oriflame products: “After a long trip, I indulge myself with Indulgence, which is really refreshing and relaxing.”
