The sky is the limit!

It took us almost seven years to get to the top ranks of the Oriflame Success Plan and become Senior Executive Directors. But when you think about it, seven years isn’t all that long, especially when you consider we went from being engineers in a research institute to the leaders of a network with many thousands of Consultants.

There are moments in life when you have to do some serious thinking about your future. For me that moment came with Perestroyka. The research institute where I’d been working had its financing cut, and I had to figure out how to make a living. In a flash of inspiration, I joined Oriflame in 1997 – and I have never stopped thanking myself for making the right choice!

I liked everything at Oriflame – the office, the service, the production, the people. I began to work actively, inviting others to join. I became a Double Diamond Director in the space of a year!

But I didn’t really have a system – just enthusiasm. Then came the economic crisis of 1998, when prices suddenly exploded. This situation showed me that I needed to build a stronger business organization, and I shifted the emphasis to helping my leaders develop more solid structures.

At that time my husband, Vladimir, joined me. He recognized the need for a more systematic approach to the business. We started to develop and implement a system of training for the novices, and together worked on improving our structures.

The leader shouldn’t just invite people and leave them to work by themselves; he or she should organize their work and make regular checks.

In our network we organize presentations, master-classes, and seminars. We have already shown numerous leaders the ropes and now, following our approach and improving on it here or there, they work independently. There are Gold, Sapphire and Diamond Directors in our structure, and I’m extremely proud of our team.

The secret of success is systematic planning. I schedule all the important events for the week, month and quarter.

One thing we’ve both learned at Oriflame is that if you want to achieve something important in life, it will happen only if you are really willing to work for it. Then the sky is the limit!
